Strengthening technical vocational education (TVET)
The project supports the exchange between public and private structures in the further development of framework conditions for dual organised vocational education and training. In addition to this, support is provided to selected vocational schools, formal economy, pedagogical institutes, and ministries of education in the improvement of the exercise of their roles in the planning and implementation of dual organised vocational education and training.
The main objective of this project is that young women and men in selected regions benefit from an institutionalized dual oriented TVET system allowing them to find attractive and decent jobs in BiH. The project will enhance the employability of young people by improving BiH’s TVET. This will be achieved by ensuring that practical training is conducted on the job and that collaboration amongst employers, TVET schools and education authorities is institutionalized and anchored in the regulatory framework. TVET students will acquire labour market relevant skills that will allow them to find a decent job.
