Strengthening Nursing (ProSes)

ProSes aims to strengthen the nursing profession in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to support nurses in the provision of high-quality services, accessible to all, in particular to vulnerable and socially excluded groups of population.

In its third and final phase, ProSes project continues to invest in improving nurse continuous education, working conditions and community nursing services. Proses project aims to enable the nurses to deliver their full potential, improving the health of the population and supporting economic growth in BIH. Overall, the project’s activities are prioritizing the needs of vulnerable and socially excluded groups of population – ensuring that “no one is left behind”.

The last project’s phase focuses on scaling up pilot experiences from previous phases, consolidating project’s achievements and gradual handing-over to local partners. Close collaboration with strategic partners ensures local ownership, increases domestic institutional capacity and ultimately contributes to the interventions’ sustainability.
