„Engage, inspire, empower – Women in Business”
The "Engage, Inspire, Empower - Women in Business" program offers women of all ages and social groups the opportunity to acquire business and digital skills that meet market demands, strengthen their self-confidence, and make informed career decisions, thereby actively contributing to the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
From December 2023 to November 2027, the project will provide tailored support, skill development, and access to resources, creating inclusive environments where women can thrive at every stage of their careers, whether they are just starting out, already active in key sectors, or holding leadership positions.
It is designed to address the specific needs of women across three key demographic groups: young women aged 16 to 24 in all career stages, women over 24 in fast-growing sectors, and women with several years of experience who aspire to leadership positions. The primary focus of the program is on:
- encouraging women to advance their careers and take on managerial positions;
- providing programmes for personal and professional skill development;
- helping young women to define their career goals.
Alongside educational programmes, women will have the opportunity to network, receive counselling and access mentorship.
The project has been designed to strengthen women entrepreneurs in BiH through various activities, including entrepreneurial programmes, study visits, ideathons and meetings. The objective is to inspire, educate and connect women, encouraging their ability to start and grow successful businesses. Furthermore, the project aims to support women in accessing finance from a variety of sources, including investors.
The project's direct involvement has a significant impact on more than 500 participants annually, contributing to BiH's economic development and enhancing the capacity of institutions that support female entrepreneurship. It also facilitates connections among women entrepreneurs at the national, regional, and international levels through events and initiatives.
The long-term objective of the project is to unlock the untapped potential of women in business, thereby enhancing productivity and national gross income.
